چکیده مقاله |
The purpose of this study is to investigate students' experiences of factors affecting the difficulty of learning English. The method of the present study was qualitative with a phenomenological approach of lived experiences. Available sampling and after in-depth and semi-structured interviews with 21 students, theoretical data saturation was obtained. The note-taking technique was used to collect data. To analyze the data and extract the main themes, the content analysis approach was performed based on the four-stepapproach of Giorgi (1970). The findings showed that learning challenges can be classified and presented in four themes or main challenges; These challenges are: 1) Motivation of teachers to to participate actively and purposefully in education; 2) How and how to hold training classes; 3) Thematic continuity in holding classes; 4) Adapting the content of the courses to the needs of students. The results indicate the existence of various factors in the difficulty of learning English, so that these factors have different reasons and the elimination of each of them requires independent research. |
